After escaping a troubled marriage, Indu is left to raise her young daughter alone. Determined to secure a better future for her child, she begins working at a spa managed by Lady Gaga, a transgender woman who soon becomes her closest friend and protector.

When a confrontation with the powerful son of a local politician places Indu and her daughter in danger, their lives are thrown into turmoil. Amid the prejudice, exploitation and injustice surrounding her, Indu unexpectedly meets Suran—a man whose arrival begins to reshape her journey.

Abhisari is a powerful human drama about a marginalized woman’s struggle for dignity, safety and love. Through Indu’s story, the film explores the complex social and legal realities faced by sex workers while questioning society’s ideas of morality, respect and humanity.
